My name is Sue and I live with my partner in Worcestershire in the UK. I have a full time job as an Administrator for a Global Company which keeps me busy on a daily basis but I like to spend as much of my relaxation time getting out and about as much as possible looking for something new to photograph. I rarely go anywhere without my trusty camera as I hate to miss an opportunity!

I have always been keen on photography but it was only a couple of years ago that I decided to invest in a digital SLR camera and take it a little more seriously. I bought a Canon 400D and then invested in a Macro lens and more recently I have been lucky enough to get a Canon 50D and another lens.

I tend to go from day to day viewing the world in pictures and wish the working weeks away just so that I can get out and about with my camera. I particularly like Macro photography and love taking pictures of flowers but I also love trying to get something a little bit different and therefore always looking for new challenges. I love entering various photography competitions which I find tends to push me and really test my skills, I find that I learn from these kind of challenges and they help me to improve my photography. I entered a photographic competition at work entitled ‘Autumn’ a couple of years ago and won first prize of a Digital Compact Camera with this image of a Chestnut. It was a great honour to win and gave me a great sense of achievement.

With the help of old photography friends and new ones that I have met through various networks I continue to learn day by day new techniques and tips which help me grow and improve.

Because of my passion for photography I have launched this Website so that I can share my photographs with everyone. I also hope to adapt this website so that anyone who may be interested in owning some of my work will be able to purchase it from here so watch this space!
